Ok, so a long, long time ago I used to be a size 6, 135 lbs with 6 pack abs and no arm jiggle. Now I'm in a size 12 jeans, 190 lbs and my 6 pack abs are hidden somewhere under a nice comfy cushion of fat. That hasn't made me too happy so I've decided to do something about it. And really nothing is ever going to change unless you do something about it.
So 5 days ago I started trying out some workouts I found on Pinterest (that's a dangerous page for me to be on). I decided that I don't want to do traditional sit-ups since those only seem to work my upper abs which are ok and aren't covered in fat (I'm a weird shape cause right under that is where the fluff starts) I found some ab workouts that have you standing up and I've been doing this workout for the last 5 days.
My pants fit better, shirts aren't bulging funny and not as much wiggles when I brush my teeth.....and that's after 5 DAYS!!! I'm going to start documenting this with photos soon and I really wish I had taken one when I started.
Here is what I've been doing: I do this with a 3lb kettlebell I got from Target for $2 but you can also use a large water bottle. If at any time the weight feels like its too much use less weight. I do 20 reps of each exercise on each side. As that gets easier for you add 5 more reps and go up 1 lb in weight. Remember, for each exercise you need to focus on having your stomach muscles move you. Take it slow and don't let the momentum of the weight move you. Also try not to smack the weight into your knee because that hurts!

I have also been doing this other workout that is helping tone everything up. I don't do number 5 mostly because I'm afraid I'll drop the ball on my face. I'm still using a 3 lb weight for this except for 3, 6 and 7 I am using 2 of my 3 lb weights held together for a total of 6 lbs. Again, take it slow and keep control of the weight. As you get stronger move up to more reps and slightly more weight. Target has some pretty cheap kettelbell weights or a gallon of water might work. A gallon of water is 8 lbs.

The first day after you do this you will probably be sore but don't let that discourage you. I know I was but now it's starting to get easier and I'm seeing results. Stick with whatever exercise routine you pick. You can do this!
